Panama’s territorial tax system only taxes income earned within its borders. That means if your money flows in from outside the country—whether it's freelancing, remote work, or passive income—you won’t owe Panama a single penny in taxes on it.

• Territorial Tax System: Only income earned inside Panama is taxed. Earnings from outside? Untouched.

  Foreign-earned income, such as freelancing or business income generated outside of Panama, is not taxed. According to Panama's Tax Code, this is codified in Article 694. This makes it particularly attractive for digital nomads and expats who derive their income internationally.

• Expat-Friendly: A large, thriving expat community that makes adjusting easy and comfortable. Panama has become a hotspot for expatriates, particularly in areas like Panama City, Boquete, and Bocas del Toro. Outside of the city, in places like Boquete or Coronado, the cost can be even lower, ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 a month.

• Dating: Panama is known for its beautiful women, many of whom still embrace traditional gender roles, valuing family, femininity and masculinity alike. This cultural aspect adds to the country's charm, offering a sense of connection to more traditional values.
