How everything started

Jamie began his career at Charles River Analytics, a Massachusetts-based firm specializing in AI-driven defense projects.

At that time, Jamie and his team were pioneering computer vision systems—technology so advanced that even the first iPhone had not yet been released.

His career evolved quickly.

By 2008, Jamie founded his first AI startup, Ponger, leveraging computer vision to recognize consumer products via mobile phones—a remarkable feat when most people were still getting used to texting.
